In
1994, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I remember the day,
sitting at my desk at work, when she called. After several, more
progressive outpatient procedures, they informed her that her biopsy was
malignant. I was crushed! I rushed to be with her. Yet my mother was
amazingly strong.
She endured several additional surgeries and radiation. We are lucky. They caught her cancer early enough that she is still cancer free today
at 75! In fact, in January we took a cruise to Tahiti together. This
picture is from the boat.
Only by early detection and aggressive treatment is she here today. However, I have heard so many other stories where the outcome was not as
positive. I want to stop hearing those stories. Will you help?
