Riders
Committed 2 A Cure (RC2AC) is
a growing association of individuals supporting the fight against
Cancer. Our mission is a
simple one To help those affected by Cancer by doing what we
love, RIDING! Our goal
is to raise awareness and financial support for organizations,
on the national, state and local levels, that are working toward
eliminating Cancer, and to help individuals in need receive the
assistance and support they deserve.
RC2AC
began as a group of motorcycle riders supporting the fight against
Breast Cancer by escorting walkers in the Avon Walk for Breast
Cancer. In December 2005,
the group decided to increase its involvement by hosting
fundraising events and donating the proceeds to the fight.
Three events were held in 2006
A Night at the Rodeo, A
Rocky Mountain Ride For A Cure and A Powerball Run For A Cure.
The group raised just over $10,000 and the proceeds from
the events were donated to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and the
Race For the Cure in Denver, Colorado.
In October 2006, the
group decided to become a non-profit charitable association.
It is our goal to unite riders with a common goal, to help
find a cure, by hosting riding and non-riding events throughout
the year for riders and their friends and family, regardless of
bike type or club affiliation. To support our mission or to join

hope that every rider will be
Committed 2 A
Cure.
